Summer is coming! There’s a lot of new things happening in the Poconos. You might have thought Stay For Vacay’s Ski Lift Summer Drift vacation home in the Poconos was just for winter fun but we are making updates and upgrades to get ready for the summertime fun too!
Brand-New Air Conditioning System
We just installed a brand-new air conditioning system throughout the house. Specifically, there is one in the living room and one in each of the three bedrooms to ensure a comfortable temperature throughout. Ok, so a brand-new air conditioning system isn’t something that you think of immediately when you’re searching for your vacation rental homes. But you certainly will miss it if the home doesn’t have it. When you stay for vacay, you want to be comfortable. The winters in the Poconos can be cold, but the summers can get hot. The temperature can reach into the 90s, with July being the hottest month. But don’t worry. We have you covered in the winter also. The new system is not only A/C but heating as well. It keeps you warm even if the temperature drops. But back to summertime…
New and Improved Amenities
What else is new this summer? Glad you asked. Due to COVID restrictions, the Village at Camelback sports complex has been closed. To make use of the time, the management team worked hard to make improvements to the amenities. The pool and sauna have a brand-new look and can’t forget to mention there’s a brand-new hot tub Everything should be ready and open for use 7 days a week starting June 1st. That includes the pool, fitness room, and indoor and outdoor tennis courts. Even the pickle ball equipment will be provided! But don’t forget to bring your tennis equipment. Sounds like this is shaping up to be fun times for all!
Water Parks Galore
Keeping with the theme of staying cool, don’t forget we are minutes to several water parks. At the Camelback Mountain Resort next door, there is Camelbeach Mountain outdoor water park and Aquatopia indoor water park. A short drive away you will also find waterparks at Great Wolf Lodge and Kalahari Resort. Why not try each one while you’re here?
