Welcome back to the StayForVacay.com Blog. The post today will introduce you to our property, Seas Life Cottage at the beautiful Margaritaville Resort Orlando. As the name implies, this vacation rental is in Orlando, Florida. Well, technically it is located just south of Orlando in neighboring Kissimmee, Florida, the home of Disney World and endless other amazing and fun things to do!
Full Access to Resort Amenities
The motto for this luxury home is Seize Life at Seas Life! Relax in the comfort and safety of a fully equipped vacation rental while enjoying full access to all of the amenities of a premiere resort. When you stay at Seas Life Cottage vacation rental, you get to experience everything this official Jimmy Buffett themed Margaritaville resort has to offer. At the resort, you can lounge by 3 separate resort pools, enjoy lunch poolside at the Salty Rim Bar and Grill, get pampered at the St. Somewhere Spa, try out the state-of-the-art fitness center, or head over to Sunset Walk for shopping, restaurants, and entertainment including live music! There is even somewhere special for the kids. The Parakeets Kids and Teen Club has special activities designed just for them.
When your done checking out the amenities, then take a short stroll back to the Seas Life Cottage to continue the magic. Enjoy the privacy of the hot tub on the back patio of the cottage or have morning coffee with unobstructed views on one of the balconies. All provide great ways to relax. Just know that full resort amenities are still just a short stroll away. All of this within minutes to Disney!
Perfect Location
Guests have noted that they love the location of Seas Life Cottage. Not only is it on a corner lot but there are no other cottages in front of it blocking its front view. Its unobstructive views overlook the fields of the neighboring winery, Island Grove Wine Company at Formosa Gardens. Prior to COVID 19, the annual Florida Blueberry Festival was held at the winery and you have a front row view of all of the festivities. The entrance to the Cottage Community Security gate is steps away from Seas Life’s front door, which provides added security.
Short Stroll to Amenities
The location is also a winner since Seas Life is a short walk to all of the resort amenities. Walking at an average pace, amenities are less than six minutes away. Close enough to the amenities but far enough away so when you don’t want the excitement of all of the resort has to offer, you get the quieter feel of paradise at the cottage. You can stroll along Fins Up Circle or detour and take the scenic route through the community over the walking bridge. Some say that is actually the fastest way. Of course, you can also hop on the resort shuttle to take you there also. Either way, whichever path you take, you get the opportunity to see all of the different colors and unique styles of the other cottages in the community. A favorite pastime is to peek at all of the creative cottage names on the cottages. We are partial to “Seas Life.”
Sleeps 10 Comfortably With 4 Bedrooms and 4.5 Bathrooms
A great feature of the house is it sleeps 10 comfortably as there are four bedrooms and 4 ½ bathrooms. That means if you are traveling with family or other couples, each has their own private bathroom en-suite. It makes that race to who gets the best bedroom a little easier. There is one bedroom with a king bed, 2 bedrooms each with a queen and the fourth bedroom has 2 twin beds. There is a tub/shower combination in one of the full bathrooms while the other three have stand up showers. In the living room, there is a comfy, queen-size pullout bed in the sectional sofa. Quick bathroom access is in the ½ bath, both on the first floor.
Balconies, Balconies, Balconies
Seas Life Cottage vacationer’s love all of the balconies on the second and third floors. There are 3 balconies in total, which means 3 of the 4 bedrooms each have their own balconies. Since Seas Life Cottage is 3 levels, you get some great views. You can enjoy your morning coffee on the front two large balconies and possibly see a hot air balloon drift by and in the evening, you may catch a fireworks show from one of the nearby Disney parks. Not to name drop, but did I mention you can see the tops of some of Animal Kingdom attractions, right from the two front balconies? The third balcony is quaint and secluded in the rear. It overlooks the back patio and hot tub. It’s a perfect place to hide when you want to catch up on your reading or get some work done if you are working remotely. Note the complimentary high-speed WIFI stretches throughout the cottage.
So, if you lost count, each bedroom has a bathroom and three of the four bedrooms also have a balcony. The only room without a balcony is the twin beds room. But no one will feel left out as all bedrooms and the living room each have 55” SMART TVs so you can catch up on your favorite shows….if you choose to while visiting paradise. And to make life easier for you, we created a short how-to video on using the TV remotes.
Private Hot Tub is Fan Favorite
Another fan favorite is the official Margaritaville hot tub located on right on the rear patio. Just walk right out the back door of the cottage and enjoy the privacy of the jacuzzi. It’s surrounded by tropical landscape including palm trees and colorful hibiscus plants. For a moment, you will think you are on a tropical island, sipping Margaritas. The hot tub is space for up to six of your closest friends. There’s a half-bath on the first floor, right off the patio. So, when you come in from the hot tub, there is a bathroom right there. After a day of adventure, you need a cool drink. The Seas Life Cottage kitchen comes equipped with the official Margaritaville Frozen Concoction Maker. Stay tuned. In a future blog we will have a few recipes you can try. But in the meantime, you can check out the video instructions on how to use the Margaritaville blender.
Besides the Margaritaville blender, what else is included in the kitchen? Of course, everything else…including the kitchen sink. (Sorry, I couldn’t resist.) But seriously, there is a fully stocked kitchen including a dishwasher, microwave, and coffee maker. You get a welcome kit of bathroom amenities, coffee and creamer, paper products and dish detergent when you check in.
There is also a full-size washer and dryer. Normally you get daily housekeeping services. But that has been put on hold due to COVID. In future blog posts and on our social media, we will provide COVID related updates. Here’s the latest update on COVID how we are keeping the property clean.
